Our service agreements provide clients with consistent, reliable lawn and landscape care. They outline scope, schedule, and expectations, ensuring smooth communication and quality results. A formal agreement helps you plan your property maintenance confidently and avoid surprises.

Lawn Care Service Agreement

This Agreement governs lawn care services provided by Noble Lawn Services LLC (“Company”).

Noble Lawn Services LLC – Service & Payment Policies

Purpose

These policies are designed to set clear expectations, so your service is smooth, consistent, and hassle-free. They explain how scheduling, access, weather delays, payments, and safety are handled. Our goal is reliable, professional results—and clear communication when changes are needed.

Scheduling & Service Windows

\nRoute-based scheduling: Service is scheduled by route for efficiency. We may adjust the exact service day to optimize the route or due to staffing, equipment, or weather.
\nService window: If you are on a recurring schedule, your service will generally occur within a reasonable weekly window (your day may shift by 1–2 days as needed).
\nArrival time: We do not guarantee exact arrival times. You do not need to be home as long as we have access and the yard is prepared.
\nRecurring service expectations: Weekly/biweekly schedules are set based on growth and seasonal conditions. We may recommend frequency changes to maintain results.
Access requirements:
Gates must be unlocked and pets secured before service.
Provide access instructions in advance (gate codes, latch quirks, parking limits, etc.).
If we cannot safely access the service area, the visit may be skipped and a trip/lockout fee may apply (see Cancellations/No Access).

Weather Policy

\nSafety first: We do not work during lightning, unsafe wind conditions, or other hazardous weather.
\nWet turf and rain: We may delay service due to heavy rain or saturated ground to prevent rutting, turf damage, and poor cut quality.
\nRescheduling after weather: Weather delays are placed on the next available route day. This may shift your usual service day temporarily.
\nSeasonal fluctuations: Growth changes rapidly in spring and slows in summer/fall. Your schedule may adjust to maintain lawn health and appearance.
Heat/drought mowing discretion:
We may raise mowing height during heat/drought to protect the lawn.
If conditions are extreme, we may postpone cutting to reduce stress on turf.

Cancellations, Pauses, and Rescheduling

\nNotice period: Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a visit.
\nLate cancellation fee: Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged a late cancellation fee (typically equal to a trip charge or a portion of the scheduled service).
\nNo access / locked gate: If we arrive and cannot access the service area (locked gates, blocked entry, pets not secured), we may charge a $50 lockout/trip fee and the visit may be skipped.
Temporary pauses (vacation/seasonal hold):
You may pause service by notifying us at least 24 hours before the next visit.
Restarting service is based on route availability; your original day/time may not be guaranteed.
\nRepeated skips: Repeated last-minute cancellations, no-access visits, or nonpayment may result in removal from the schedule.

Tall Grass, Overgrowth, and First-Cut Policy

\nWhat counts as overgrown: Grass that is significantly taller than normal maintenance height, commonly due to missed visits, extended pauses, rain delays, or lack of mowing (often 6+ inches, heavy weeds, or dense growth).
\nFirst-cut / overgrowth pricing: Overgrown lawns require extra labor, bagging, double-cutting, and/or cleanup. An overgrowth charge may apply and will be added to the invoice.
\nCutting approach: For lawn health, we may reduce height gradually (multiple cuts) rather than scalping.
\nHidden debris responsibility: Customers are responsible for removing hidden items (rocks, toys, wire, branches, pet waste). Delays or extra cleanup due to debris may result in additional charges.

Yard Conditions & Debris

Before we arrive, please:
Pick up toys, hoses, sports items, branches, and trash.
Mark or disclose fragile items near turf (decorations, edging, low lights).
Remove pet waste from areas to be serviced.
If the yard isn’t prepared:
We may mow around obstacles, skip affected areas, or reschedule if unsafe.
Extra time for moving debris or cleanup will be billed.
Mow-only vs. cleanup scope:
Standard mowing includes mowing and trimming/edging/blowing..
\nYard cleanups (leaves, sticks, heavy debris, hauling) are separate services unless specifically included in writing.

Payments & Billing

\nInvoices: Invoices are typically issued on the day of service (or immediately after completion for recurring work).
\nPayment terms: Payment is due Net 7 (within 7 days) unless otherwise stated in writing.
\nPayment methods: We accept common electronic payment methods and other standard options communicated at billing (exact methods may vary).
\nCard-on-file / autopay (if enabled): If you choose autopay, you authorize us to charge your saved payment method for approved services and any documented add-ons.
Returned/failed payments:
Returned payments or failed transactions may incur a processing fee.
Payment must be replaced promptly to avoid service interruption.

Late Payments & Collections

\nLate fee: Past-due balances may incur a late fee after 30 days of 1.5% per month (18% annually) as permitted under Maryland law.
\nService suspension: Accounts with unpaid balances may have service paused until the account is brought current.
\nCollections/admin costs: If an account becomes seriously delinquent, you may be responsible for reasonable costs associated with collection efforts, including administrative time and third-party fees where allowed.

Pricing, Estimates, and Scope Changes

\nEstimate validity: Estimates are valid for 10 days from the date issued unless stated otherwise.
\nScope-based pricing: Pricing is based on the visible conditions at the time of quoting and the agreed scope (size, access, terrain, obstacles, growth level).
Changes that may affect price:
Overgrowth, heavy weeds, missed visits, or storm debris
Access issues (locked gates, repeated obstacles)
Added areas or new requests not included in the original scope
\nApproval for add-ons: Any add-on work over $50 requires written approval (text message approval is acceptable).
\nPrice adjustments: We will communicate material pricing changes before performing additional work whenever possible.

Safety & Property Protection

\nFlying debris risk: Lawn equipment can propel rocks, sticks, and other debris. Customers agree to help reduce risk by keeping service areas clear.
Customer responsibilities:
Move vehicles from edges/driveways near turf where debris may be thrown.
Secure children and pets indoors/away from work areas during service.
Keep windows/doors closed near the mowing area when practical.
\nUnsafe conditions: We may stop or skip service if conditions are unsafe (aggressive animals, hazardous debris, unstable ground, extreme weather).
\nCrew discretion: Our team may adjust service methods to protect people, property, and turf health.

Damage, Claims, and Notification

\nHow to report: Report concerns by calling or texting 443-910-2644 as soon as possible and include photos when available.
\nNotification window: Issues should be reported within 48 hours of service completion so we can investigate promptly.
\nWhat may be covered: Damage caused directly by our operations due to negligence, verified through review and documentation.
What is not covered (common exclusions):
Pre-existing damage or fragile items not disclosed
Hidden obstacles (rocks, wire, debris) not visible or not removed
Unmarked irrigation heads, shallow wiring, low-voltage lighting, invisible fences
Normal wear, settling, or pre-existing lawn/landscape conditions
\nDocumentation: We may take before/after photos for quality control and claim review.

Irrigation, Invisible Fences, and Utilities

\nCustomer disclosure: You agree to disclose and/or mark:
Sprinkler heads and shallow irrigation components
Invisible fence lines, pet containment wiring, low-voltage lighting, and shallow utility lines
\nMarking responsibility: If items are not clearly visible/marked, we are not responsible for damage that results from normal service operations.
\nBest practice: Clearly flag sprinkler heads near edges and identify fragile/hidden lines before service begins.

Communication Policy

\nBest contact method: Call/text 443-910-2644 for the fastest response.
\nResponse expectations: We aim to respond within 1 business day. Weather events and peak season may cause delays.
\nAfter-hours messages: Messages received after hours are answered the next business day.
\nApprovals by text: Text message approval is acceptable for scheduling changes, add-ons, and confirmations.
\nPhoto updates: We may send photos for confirmation of scope, property condition, or completed work when helpful.

Photos & Marketing (Optional)

\nQuality-control photos: We may take before/after photos for documentation and service verification.
\nMarketing use: With your permission, we may use general before/after photos that do not show identifying details (house numbers, people, vehicles, unique personal items). If you prefer no photos be used for marketing, notify us in writing.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service for any of the following:

\nUnsafe conditions (hazards, aggressive animals, severe debris, threatening behavior)
\nHarassment or abusive behavior toward staff
Nonpayment or repeated late payments
\nRepeated access issues (locked gates, blocked areas, no safe access)
\nRequests outside normal service scope without proper approval or agreement

By scheduling service with Noble Lawn Services LLC, you acknowledge and agree to these Service & Payment Policies.
